A man has been seriously injured after a fire at a block of flats in Cambridge . The blaze at Huxley House , Mill Park, took place during the early hours of Thursday morning (October 2).

A police investigation has been launched. A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police commented: "We were called at about 12.40am today (2 October) to reports of a fire at Huxley House, Mill Park, Cambridge.

"A man has been taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital , suffering from serious injuries. There have been no arrests, officers remain at the scene and an investigation is on-going."
