OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It’s another mild start to the day with temperatures in the 60s as you head out. More of that early October sunshine will lead to another hot afternoon for us all. Highs should surge a little further into the 80s.
You’ll likely notice just a bit more humidity this afternoon thanks in part to the wind that will gust to near 25 mph from the south.
More summer heat in early October is likely through the weekend with highs near 90 each and every day.
While we stay short of records most days now, Saturday has the best chance to get close.
