MILTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - A Fairfax man was cited to appear in court Wednesday after authorities observed him driving over 100 miles per hour, while allegedly under the influence.
Officers say that a vehicle, driven by 24-year-old Jordan Jenkins, was seen traveling about 110 miles per hour on I-89. Troopers saw the vehicle at roughly 8:33 p.m. near mile marker 102.8.
A vehicle stop was conducted, where authorities reportedly "detected multiple indicators of impairment". Jenkins was arrested for the suspicion of DUI. He is set to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court for negligent operation and DUI charges October 30.
Jenkins was also issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint.
