SWANTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - I-89 southbound is down to one lane of travel just south of Exit 21, and will remain that way for over a month.

This lane reduction began at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 2. During this period workers will be repairing the bridge rail and replacing the Pier #1 bearing.

Drivers should proceed with caution, as there may be workers and equipment around the roadway. Delays are expected, and work is anticipated to end at 5:00 p.m. on November 14.
