BENGALURU: The 71st Wildlife Week celebrations commenced with a walkathon to raise awareness about wildlife conservation. The walkathon started from the Grand Steps of Vidhana Soudha, with Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre, and wildlife conservation ambassador Anil Kumble participating.

The event aims to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and the need to protect the natural habitat of various species. Shivakumar emphasized the importance of wildlife conservation and encouraged people to take steps to protect the environment.
