Mysuru: The world-famous Mysuru Dasara festival’s grand Jamboo Savari procession was marked by vibrant cultural performances and the majestic march of elephants, adding splendour to the celebrations.

After Chief Minister Siddaramaiah offered prayers at the Nandi Dwaja, cultural troupes including Kombu Kahale, Veeragase and Dollu Kunitha set the tone for the procession towards the Banni Mantapa. Leading the iconic line-up was Nishane elephant Gopi, followed by Mahendra, Lakshmi, Gajendra, Prashanth, Sugreeva, Bhima, Kanjan and Ekalavya.
