BEACHWOOD, Ohio --
Violation of protection order: Chagrin Boulevard
At 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24, an officer was stationed in a car on Chagrin Boulevard when he saw a white Ford Escape SUV pass by.
The SUV’s windows were darkly tinted. The driver then made an abrupt lane change, followed by a quick turn onto Fire Station Drive. The Escape then headed toward parked cars in the nearby lot of Pavilion Shopping Center.
The SUV was parked and the male driver got out the vehicle. He paced about while watching the officer drive near.
The officer spoke with the man, who was found to have a suspended license. Lying across the back seat of the SUV was a woman who had a protection order against the man.
