Suspicious, Caves Road :

A man called police 6 a.m. Sept. 20 after hearing his normally quiet neighbor’s dog barking. He was concerned that something was amiss. Officers spoke to the dog owner who explained his dog had to be kept out on the porch because it got sprayed by a skunk.

Assistance, Hitching Post:

Police and firefighters responded 7 p.m. Sept. 16 to a grill fire. The homeowner was able to extinguish the fire and disconnect the gas, making it safe.

Animal call, Chillicothe Road:

Called to the scene 11:09 a.m. Sept. 19 where a snapping turtle was in the middle of the road, officers were able to safely move it to the side.

Found property, Kinsman Road :

A resident found a ball cap and took it to the police station 2:25 p.m. Sept. 23. It bears the
