A Florida man arrested after running from McCracken County deputies following a suspicious person complaint last week is facing additional charges after a search of his vehicle.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said on Friday that after his arrest, a search was conducted on the vehicle of 27-year-old Andrew C. Brown, of Oakhill, Florida. That search reportedly uncovered drugs, drug paraphernalia, and stolen items, including a gun.

Brown is not legally allowed to possess a gun as he has prior felony convictions.

Last week, deputies were dispatched to the area of Deerhaven Lane due to one of the residents seeing an individual attempting to enter a vehicle.
