Butler scheduled a future nonconference series against North Carolina, which will feature a game at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

The Butler men's basketball team is beefing up its nonconference schedule, agreeing to a home-and-home series with North Carolina for the next two seasons.

The series begins next season with a December matchup in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels will make the trip to Hinkle Fieldhouse in December of 2027.

Butler is 3-3 in six games against North Carolina. The most recent meeting between the two teams came during the 2017 Sweet Sixteen. UNC beat Butler 92-80. The teams first met in 1928 with Butler beating UNC 43-20 at Hinkle.
