One Cleveland McDonald's was six points away from a failing health inspection score this week due to dirty dishes.
The McDonald's on 25th Street scored a 77.
According to the inspector, dishes and other equipment were not “pre-scraped” before being washed, leaving multiple to be stored with kitchen residue and food splatter on them.
The automatic dishwasher was also found to be in disrepair and not properly sanitizing dishware. The establishment is now required to use a sink for chemical sanitization until the machine is fixed.
The inspector also found to-go containers stored directly on the floor, multiple perishable foods (raw and cooked eggs, deli ham, whipped cream, etc.) left out at incorrect tempters, and heavy food build up on both the walls, grill, cooking equipment, and freeze
