Remember the story about Haitian immigrants in Ohio eating dogs and cats they kidnapped from the good citizens of Springfield?

It turns out that 52% of Trump voters believed it, according to a YouGov poll taken during the heat of last year’s campaign. Another 24% said it might be true.

Here we go again. The claim now is that Democrats are shutting down the government because they want to provide undocumented immigrants with free health care. It’s not as colorful a claim as the pet barbecues, but it is just as dishonest.
