Euston Station, one of London’s most important and busiest train stations, has been evacuated.

The station was emptied around 3pm due to a ‘security alert’, according to witnesses and the monitoring service TfL Access.

Hundreds of commuters were hurried out from the station and towards the nearby bus station.

Network Rail, which manages Euston, has been approached for comment.
