MANCHESTER, N.H. —

The entire state is now in a stage of drought, according to the latest report from the U.S. Drought Monitor .

For the first time since the drought began, all corners of the state are considered to be seeing at least moderate drought conditions.

The portion in extreme drought increased very slightly from last week and still includes most of central New Hampshire, from the Upper Valley to the White Mountains and south toward Lake Winnipesaukee. According to the report, the extreme drought area covers 32.80% of the state.

New Hampshire last saw a significant batch of rainfall last Thursday, but it has been mostly dry since then. No rain is likely until next Wednesday, at the earliest.
