CHICAGO (WTVO) — Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker is accusing federal immigration agents of racially motivated enforcement tactics, saying U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers are profiling people in the streets of Chicago.
“ICE is running around the Loop harassing people for not being white,” Pritzker said earlier this week during a press conference alongside Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson. “Just a year ago, that was illegal in the United States. Now, ICE is making it commonplace. That’s not making America great.”
