Two thirds of savers experience a thrill from putting money aside – with as little as £30 delivering the excitement. A study of 2,000 adults found 43 per cent of those with savings manage to squirrel away cash each month, whilst 16 per cent succeed in doing so weekly.
Reflecting on their accomplishments, 88 per cent of adults have achieved a goal they set themselves, leaving them feeling satisfied, empowered and thrilled.
And 40 per cent regard any amount of money saved, whether large or small, as a victory, with as little as £1-£30 placed into their savings giving a third with a rush.
Seven in ten adults who have previously saved said that accumulating money steadily and regularly brings them joy, whilst 46 per cent said financial wellness is equally as important as physical or mental
