Two pedestrians were hit by a car in Mansfield Thursday morning.

The crash took place on Oakland Street around 10 a.m.

Authorities say the street will be closed between Swett Street and Shields Street. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Officials have not given an update on the extent of their injuries.
