FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Fulton County Animal Services is urging community members to adopt or foster dogs due to the lack of capacity to house dozens of furry animals.
Animal Services said the shelter is 60 dogs over capacity, and they must be placed in homes by 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2.
If the animals are not placed in time, Animal Services said they will be forced to make heartbreaking decisions.
Those who wish to help can spread the word about the shelter or stop by to take one home. The shelter is waiving all adoption fees.
