An 18-year-old Six Nations man is facing numerous charges after Haldimand County OPP received a traffic complaint on Highway 54 near Caledonia.

Provincial police were contacted at about 9:30 p.m. and after locating the suspect vehicle, officers attempted a traffic stop.

The driver and lone occupant fled the scene at a high rate of speed but was located soon after and arrested, said a media release.

The accused has been charged with dangerous driving, flight from police and driving while under suspension.
