BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) - The Buncombe County District Attorney announced that a woman has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for her role in the murder of her twelve-week-old daughter.

32-year-old Deandra Haleigh-Alexis Fuhr-Farlow was originally charged with first-degree murder, but was permitted to plead guilty for a reduced charge. In exchange Fuhr-Farlow gave a testimony against her co-defendant Nicholas Shane Stephenson.

Stephenson was found guilty of second-degree murder and felony child abuse, and was convicted last month in the death of his daughter. Stephenson was sentenced to a minimum of 27 years in prison.
