Generic Theater’s deep basement digs under Chrysler Hall have always had something purgatorial about them, but never more than now, as the company continues its earnest, required search for a new home above ground. To begin its abbreviated (supposedly) final season at Chrysler (Way) Down Under, Generic has dug down deep enough to strike gold with a perfectly cast, brilliantly acted play about … a sandwich shop, one staffed entirely by ex-cons.
