SHREVEPORT, La. -- National Domestic Violence Awareness Month kicked off Thursday morning with a proclamation ceremony at the Caddo Parish Courthouse. "We are all committed to do whatever we can to lessen what's going on in our parish with domestic violence," District Attorney James Stewart said.
