Scottish rock legends Simple Minds appeared on ITV’s Lorraine on Thursday to celebrate the release of their first-ever book and reflect on a remarkable career that has spanned more than four decades. ‌

Frontman Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill , who co-founded the band in Glasgow in the late 1970s, joined Christine Lampard on the sofa to promote their memoir, Our Secrets Are The Same. ‌

The book, written with music journalist Graham Thomson, tells their journey from childhood friends to global rock icons, exploring both the highs of fame and the challenges of longevity in the music industry. ‌
