With her Iowa women’s basketball career wrapping up soon, Hannah Stuelke is eyeing a dominant senior season as one of the Hawkeyes’ anchors.
The Cedar Rapids native has been named a preseason All-Big Ten selection by the coaches and media, announced Oct. 2 as part of the league’s entire preseason awards release.
Stuelke is Iowa ’s top returning scorer and rebounder, having averaged 12.7 points and 7.7 boards per game as a junior. That production earned her second-team All-Big Ten honors for the second straight season. As a true freshman on a Hawkeyes squad that reached the national championship game, Stuelke was named Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year.
Stuelke has made 64 starts across three seasons and is one of 20 players in program history with 1,100 career points and 600 career
