Our Place Society is preparing to serve more than 600 people a traditional Thanksgiving meal on Oct. 7, offering support to Victoria’s most vulnerable as colder weather arrives.

From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Our Place family table will seat guests to enjoy a meal served with warmth, dignity and community.

“While the world around us may feel increasingly unstable, our dedicated team is working harder than ever to ensure that Our Place’s Community Centre remains a constant — somewhere people can count on for a hot meal, a warm shower, and a sense of belonging,” says Julian Daly, CEO in a release.

“This Thanksgiving, we’re inviting everyone to enjoy a festive meal, make connections, and begin that journey from surviving to thriving.”
