LOWELL, Mich. (WOOD) — A judge has tossed out a lawsuit filed by a member of the conservative group Moms for Liberty against Lowell Area Schools.

In August, a lawsuit was filed by librarian media director Christine Beachler against a parent she says harassed her for years over the library’s catalog. Beachler claims Stefanie Boone has posted countless social media texts and videos over the past five years calling Beachler a “smut-peddling media specialist,” “groomer” and “pedophile.”

The alleged attacks started after Boone appealed two library books that contained LGBTQ+ themes.
