KERSHAW, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- James Hunter and Jessica Vogel have been charged with trafficking fentanyl after a months-long investigation.

During August and September, agents made two controlled buys of suspected fentanyl from Hunter at his home just outside Kershaw.

Early last Friday morning, Task Force agents, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, and other sheriff’s office investigators went to the home to arrest Hunter and serve a search warrant on the property.

Hunter and Vogel were there and were detained without incident. Another adult male was also in the home but is not implicated in any criminal activity and was not charged.

A search of the home discovered 13.4 grams of suspected fentanyl and suspected hydrocodone in liquid form along with digital scales.
