LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WSMV) - An Ohio woman has been indicted and charged in the 2023 murder of her husband, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
TBI reports that they have obtained indictments charging 39-year-old Jocelyn Rose Fouth Maddox with the death of her husband, 37-year-old James Matthew Maddox.

James was killed in the couple’s Lawrenceburg home in the 5500 block of Gimlet Road in June of 2023.
TBI said their investigation has determined that Jocelyn injured James, leading to his death. They did not specify the incident that led to James’ death.
TBI’s investigation also revealed that Jocelyn had allegedly attempted to run James over with a vehicle several months before his death.
