A Texas pet owner allegedly kidnapped the driver who hit his dog and forced him at gunpoint to dig the animal’s grave.

Alberto Joshua Hernandez, 22, of Mineola, is accused of pointing a gun at the motorist who had pulled over to fix his bumper after striking an animal in the Sept. 8 incident, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by KLTV .

The alleged victim claimed Hernandez pulled up in a silver pickup truck, got out and aimed an automatic pistol at him.

Hernandez forced the man to pick up the body of the dog from a nearby ditch and carry it to his yard, the man told cops.

“I should shoot you now for it,” the man claimed Hernandez told him, according to the document.
