The Home Secretary says she is 'horrified' by the 'anti-Semitic terrorist attack' at a synagogue in Manchester, vowing that those who seek to divide us will 'fail'.
Shabana Mahmood said that it will 'take a little time' to establish exactly what happened at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue this morning (October 2), but vowed that the government will do 'whatever is required' to keep the Jewish community safe.
Two people have been killed and four were seriously injured during the incident on Middleton Road at around 9.30am. The suspect was shot dead by armed police at the scene.
