HICKORY, N.C. — A man faces multiple charges after allegedly forcing his way into an apartment and shooting two people late Tuesday, police said.
Hickory police responded to Glenwood Commons around 11 p.m. on Tuesday to reports of a shooting and found two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to the Hickory Police Department. Both victims were treated and released from a local hospital.
Police said Tyraun Lamont Clark, 48, forcefully entered an acquaintance's apartment and fired several rounds before exiting and firing additional shots as he left. Clark had fled before officers arrived.
Clark was arrested following a traffic stop on Wednesday morning in Conover with assistance from the Conover Police Department.
