DES MOINES, Iowa —

Des Moines police say a Des Moines teenager missing for more than 2 months has been found "healthy and safe."

DMPD requested the public's help on July 15 to find 17-year-old Alexis Fuller and a 14-year-old boy, both of which were considered "voluntarily absent."

The 14-year-old was located about a week later . Fuller, police said Thursday morning, was located overnight.

DMPD didn't provide any other details, but did thank "all who remained vigilant during her absence" and said they continue to investigate the case.
