NEW YORK (PIX11) -- One month before the hotly anticipated Election for NYC Mayor, and as the field shrinks with the exit of Mayor Eric Adams, the candidates are going one-on-one with PIX11 News.

Senior Political Reporter Henry Rosoff speaks with Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani about whether he's overthinking his response to controversial issues, and changes he wants to make to early childhood education.

Rosoff spoke with Republican and Independent candidate Curtis Sliwa about the constant pressure to leave the race and issues of public safety.

An invitation was also extended to the Independent candidate, former Governor Andrew Cuomo.
