SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A cold front remains draped across the region and a few storms are possible the first half of the day.
Valley highs will once again be in the mid 70s. Afternoon temperatures will peak in the upper 60s in the foothills, with highs in the Sierra around 60 degrees.
Behind the front, there will be dry window this afternoon. Returning sunshine and moisture left behind could fuel a few thunderstorms this evening as the center of the system moves overhead.
Tonight, the winds turn northerly and high temperatures warm to low 80s for the weekend.
It appears another storm system will reload our trough next week. Bringing back our next dip in temperatures.
