We are officially at the midway point of the 2025 high school football season in Lafayette Parish and its surrounding areas.

Last week, teams hailing from the 337 further established themselves as they remain undefeated in Teurlings Catholic, St. Edmund, Jeanette, Westminster Christian Academy-Opelousas, Erath, Ascension Episcopal and Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy. A big target will be on all seven programs' backs as teams are itching to be the ones to hand them their first loss of the season.

Along with hunting the undefeated, this week’s matchups are all about district play as the journey to a district championship has begun. From Class 5A to the 1A, teams are eager to start district-play off on the right foot as its the first hardware on the line ahead of postseason. No matter
