LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The lead detective who laid out his roadmap to prosecution in the disappearance and death of Crystal Rogers sat down with WAVE News’ Alena Noakes to reflect on the case.
Rogers disappeared on July 3, 2015, after a date night with her then-boyfriend, Brooks Houck. Her car was found on the side of the Bluegrass Parkway. Her family spent years searching. Ten years later, Crystal’s friends and family got some justice, but not all the answers they sought.
In 2025, Houck, Joseph Lawson and Steve Lawson were found guilty of charges related to Rogers’ disappearance and death. Detective Jon Snow testified in all three cases.
