RAYMOND, Maine —

A Maine woman is expressing concern for her children's safety after her daughter was nearly hurt while she was walking off a school bus.

Emily Allen said security cameras on their Raymond home captured the mishap during drop-off on Sept. 25.

The video shows that Allen's son got off the Regional School Unit 14 bus just fine, but the bus started driving off as Allen's daughter was trying to step onto the pavement.

According to Allen, her daughter's backpack got caught in the door of the school bus. The video shows the girl stumble slightly and look back toward the moving bus, which did come to a brief stop shortly after the incident before continuing down the road.
