GRAND JUNCTION Colo. (KREX)- The Mesa County Workforce Center wrapped up Workforce Development Month with its annual Fall Job Fair on Thursday afternoon, drawing employers and job seekers who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
Nearly 50 businesses and organizations set up booths inside the center, hoping to find the right fit for open roles.
“The Fall Job Fair is so important to our community,” said Tabi Britt, employment services supervisor at the Workforce Center. “It’s vital for our businesses to get the staff they need to provide the services they offer, and it’s just as vital for job seekers to find something meaningful — a job that makes them feel proud and supports their families.”
