DURANGO, Colo. (KREX) - Two people were injured in a reported shooting at a Durango Walmart, according to the Durango Police Department (DPD).

DPD stated the situation appears to be contained, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Officers and emergency personnel are currently at the scene. The police department asks the community to avoid the area so first responders can work safely.
