Questioning the mayor’s priorities, Boston City Councilor Julia Mejia asked why the city can’t divert funds from its $200 million White Stadium soccer plan to build an addiction recovery campus to relieve Mass and Cass strain.
Mejia, an opponent of the city’s public-private plan to rehab White Stadium for a new professional women’s soccer team, said an addiction recovery campus would “benefit the entire city of Boston, not just certain parts.”
