SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The historic Green-Meldrim House is celebrating literature this October through immersive tours of renowned authors.

“They’re going to hear the words of a great writer like, say, Henry James, Flannery O’Connor or Conrad Aiken. Passages that are interesting and sort of give some sort of insight into those writer’s feelings of Savannah and the south,” said Executive Director Jamie Credle.

This 70-to-95-minute experience will take individuals room to room where volunteers will give a performance about each writer from Savannah and the surrounding areas.
