Encouraged by the mediation process initiated with the government, the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) announces that the suspension of teaching for medical students has been postponed until further notice. The FMOQ – which represents family doctors in the province – had already announced an initial postponement of this pressure tactic on Monday. Initially, family physicians were to stop teaching students as of Oct. 1. For the time being, medical students will therefore be able to benefit from preclinical and clerkship teaching activities.
