Hours-long delays for commercial truck traffic entering Canada in Windsor, Point Edward

Truckers looking to enter Canada from the Blue Water Bridge or Ambassador Bridge are facing hours-long delays Thursday as a result of a now-resolved systems outage.

As of about 6 p.m. on Thursday there was a seven-hour delay for commercial traffic at the Blue Water Bridge at Point Edward, Ont., according to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) webpage.

At the Ambassador Bridge, it's a two-hour delay for inbound commercial traffic as of around 6 p.m.

There is no delay for passenger traffic at Blue Water, while there is a 30-minute delay at Windsor's bridge.
