CHEBOYGAN COUNTY — History made in Cheboygan County as over 1,500 unserved and underserved homes and business received Spectrum Internet, Mobile, TV and Voice services.

Mike Hogan, a spokesman for Spectrum, tells us ”it’s important that we serve these rural communities. You know, today it’s a, it’s a necessity internet. ”

The multi-year rural construction initiative is driven by more than $7 billion in private investment from Spectrum.

They eventually will add an additional 100,000+ miles of fiber-optic network infrastructure and deliver symmetrical and multi-gigabit speed internet access to more than 1.7 million new locations across the country.
