LOS ANGELES – A woman has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a woman’s body found in the truck of a vehicle in a South Los Angeles tow yard on September 9.
NBC is reporting the arrest of Sandra Romo Diaz, of Los Angeles, on suspicion of murder. She is being held in the County jail with a $2 million bail.
The woman’s body was discovered at Al’s Towing in the 1900 block of Gage Ave. on September 9. Her family had reported her missing.
The victim has not been publicly identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Video from local news reports showed tents set up over a Honda sedan parked in the tow yard. It appeared the back of the car had been burned.
