The sheriff’s deputy who survived his wounds and helped take down the man who fatally shot three police detectives last month in York County has been transferred to a rehabilitation hospital.

Lieutenant David Godfrey of the York County Sheriff’s Office has been moved to the WellSpan Surgery & Rehabilitation Hospital to continue rehab related to his injuries, according to WellSpan spokesman Ryan Coyle.
