Calm and quiet conditions continue to move across New Mexico today. Temperatures have warmed a couple degrees as well. Overnight, temperatures will be mild with mostly clear conditions across the state.

A fall storm system starts moving into New Mexico Friday, bringing an isolated rain chance to western New Mexico and southwest Colorado. Winds will also pick up across the state Friday, with southwest winds gusting as high as 30 mph. Windier weather moves in Saturday afternoon with gusts as high as 45 mph in northern and western New Mexico. Showers and storms are likely Saturday morning through the evening across northern and northwestern New Mexico and southern Colorado as well, with the best chance for rain in the mountains.
