BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— It was a night of creativity as kids made crystal balls at the Brazil Public Library.
The hands-on program encouraged imagination and creativity, giving each child a magical keepsake to take home. The event was part of the library's monthly Youth Craft Night, which takes place on the first Thursday of each month.
Kids’ programming events are free and do not require a library card to participate.
"I think the kids need to be involved with the library and find out there's more to the library than just books. Doing crafts once a month with them really helps with that. We also have parties, we have games, we have socials, we have summer reading programs," Youth Librarian Nan Algie said.
