Some Brown County Board members want the Neville Public Museum to attract more families and kids, but some area museums leaders are worried about what that could mean for the future of the Neville and Children's Museum of Green Bay.
County Board members Dixon Wolfe and Devon Coenen want the museum to add more kid-friendly exhibits to boost attendance.
Ron Antonneau, chair of the committee's Education and Recreation Committee, said the committee would look at exhibits in 2027 and beyond since exhibits for next year have been set.
"We (Neville) are not a children's museum and we won't be," Antonneau said at the committee meeting Oct. 2.
