JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — Jasper County deputies are on the scene of Forrest Drive after a man was reportedly shot in the leg Thursday night.

The man is conscious and alert, a Jasper County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) spokesperson said.

Officials ask that residents avoid the area while first responders are on scene.
